Mixtures

A mixture consists of 2 or more substances which are NOT joined together chemically.

Mixures do nt hae anhmical symbols or formula.Mixtures ay consist ofements, compnds or both.

Compounds

Compounds consist of 2 or more elements chemically comibined together.
Compunds always have a chemical formula comprsing of their elements and
the ratio of their elements.
Compounds are unique and have special properties, they are formed by chemical reactions, involving an exchange of energy during the process.It does not have the
properties of it's constituents.It can also be broken down into simpler substances using chemical methods.

Solutions and Suspensions

Solutions- If a solid is added to a liquid and it dissolves, the solid is soluble in that liquid. This is a solution.

Suspensions- If a solid is added to a liquid and it does not dissolve, the solid is insoluble in that liquid.
A suspension.

A gallon is a measurement of approxemately 4 litres. Historically it has made many uses but there are for now only three remaining in use. These uses are actually branched out dependinng on the country and how they use it.
